ASCENDANT UNREST is the second book in the Faded Skies series. Think action scenes and killer dialogue. My favorite thing about Matthew Cox’s books are the dialogue. They’re witty, realistic, and catchy. You want to know more about the characters. You want to actually know the characters in real life.
This is not a book to read intermittently. Once I sat down, I couldn’t stop. I ended up reading much too late to find out
what happens next. I had read book one
previously, and I do recommend starting there so you can get the full
experience.
