Okay, so this book is
pure awesome. I think one of my favorite
things is that is starts off a few years in the future, rather than 50 or so,
as most “future” books I’ve read do.
Anyway, I found this wholly unique.
Yes, Mari is transported to another land, but that doesn’t mean this is
like any other book you’ve read. The
imagination is evident and you can tell Carol Riggs put a lot of effort into
polishing this. Although it is young
adult, this can appeal to anyone of any age.
