I thought the
description sounded cool, but I didn’t expect to love the book as much as I
did! I started reading it rather late at
night, thinking I would just read a chapter or two, and suddenly I was halfway
through and couldn’t wait to finish it the following day.
This has the beauty of
a fairy tale mixed with the action and adventure of a modern fantasy. It
really isn’t for kids, by the way. It
tends be very dark and gritty, which is something I adore. Easily five stars from me.
