Code War

I received a copy of CODE WAR by Richard Givan in exchange for an honest review.

There was a lot to like in this book.  It was quite different from what I normally read (tends to be either young adult fantasy or historical fiction), so this was a delight.  I love trying something new.

The chapters are told from different characters, an aspect I found refreshing.  It helped to make the book feel more well-rounded and intense.  You aren’t immersed in just one character.

One character is named Dolf.  I loved saying that in my head!

It is a well-written book filled with realistic dialogue, engaging action, and some great scenery.  You can tell Richard Givan put a lot of work into this.  It shines as a very polished piece.
